House of Gucci
At the beginning, I was enjoying it but I was like ‘what is this about???’. The story wasn’t clear but I didn’t read up on the story of Gucci beforehand so I didn’t know what was going on and it wasn’t what I was expecting and thought it was kind of a pointless film to make. House of Gucci is much like all revenge films except nobody knows about the people in this one and nothing that was shown was like ‘WOW’.
However, pushing aside the boring parts that were a yawn to get through I loved Jared Leto’s entertaining clown of a character, Salma Hayek’s senorita extravaganza persona and the disco scenes at the start. Other than that the music was ever so random and I really didn’t see a story to grasp that was meaningful in telling. The eccentric outfits, especially the glamourous mountain wear make the movie and I see the loud clothing as a way of hiding all the fashionistas true personalities and insecurities.
